The kids and I flew to AZ during Spring Break for a surprise 60th Birthday party for mom and a surprise 59th birthday party for dad! They had no idea!! Jamie and Jake also flew in...with help from many friends in AZ, we were able to pull off the party successfully. Not one person let on that 1) there was a surprise party and 2) that both Jamie and I were coming with the grandkids. Needless to say, mom and dad were very shocked when they walked into their dark house and everyone yelled SURPRISE!
We stayed a week and had lots of fun. We took a trip to the Grand Canyon (favorite part for the kids was the snow...favorite part for me was the 3 hour trip each way in the car with the two babies screaming...hah!). We went swimming, the kids stayed a day with Bacca at school and painted, and we got to see lots of friends.
